Mialy
Mialy is the founder and editor of Reinvent at 40, a site for women in their late 30s, 40s and early 50s who are thinking about changing careers, going back to work after a break, or building something of their own.
She isn’t a certified career coach or a recruiter, and this site doesn’t pretend otherwise. Her work is research and writing: she digs through public labor data (like the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics), official program and certification pages, salary surveys and first-hand accounts from women who’ve made the switch, then turns it all into plain-English guides you can actually use.
Each article tries to answer the questions readers ask most: which jobs are realistic after 40, what retraining really costs, how long a pivot takes, and how to talk about a gap without apologizing for it. When a topic needs a licensed professional (legal, financial or medical advice), the article says so.
